Privacy Policy

Sbeeqo is a digital waiting list service for restaurants. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers two groups:

• Restaurants — the owners and staff who create accounts and run waiting lists.
• Guests — the people who join a restaurant's waiting list through Sbeeqo.

From restaurant accounts: your email address and password (stored securely), plus the restaurant details you enter: name, category, and address.

From guests who join a waiting list: the details the restaurant collects — typically your name, phone number, email address, and party size. Guests may also opt in to promotional messages from the restaurant.

From the service itself: waiting-list activity (position in line, when you were notified and seated), SMS delivery records (recipient number, message body, and delivery status), and basic usage data.

We use this information to:

• Operate the waiting list: show each guest's position in line and let restaurants notify, seat, and manage their list.
• Send table-ready notifications, including SMS when the restaurant has enabled it.
• Let guests track their spot through their personal tracking link.
• Maintain restaurant accounts, dashboards, and embeddable widgets.
• Provide customer support and secure the service.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use guest data to advertise to guests on behalf of third parties.

Information is shared only as needed to run the service:

• The restaurant you joined. Guest details belong to the restaurant's waiting list; the restaurant can view and export them.
• SMS provider. When a restaurant enables SMS notifications, the guest's phone number and message are sent to our SMS provider (Twilio) to deliver the text.
• Infrastructure providers. Hosting, database, and authentication providers process data on our behalf to operate the service.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

SMS is only sent when a restaurant turns on SMS notifications for its list, and only for table-ready notices. If you receive a table-ready text and no longer wish to receive them, tell the restaurant or contact us at the address below. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Sbeeqo does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We store a small amount of data in your browser's local storage so you can return to your tracking page (for guests) and stay signed in (for restaurants). Clearing your browser storage removes this data.

Guest entries move to a restaurant's history when they are seated, notified, or removed, and remain there until the restaurant deletes them or closes their account. When a restaurant account is deleted, its waiting-list data is deleted. We keep account and billing records only as long as needed for the purposes above and to comply with law.

Restaurant account holders can edit or delete their restaurant details and export or delete their waiting-list data from the dashboard. Guests can ask a restaurant to remove them from a list at any time, and can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data. We will respond to requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, and industry-standard infrastructure practices. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Sbeeqo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child's data has been provided to us, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version. Material changes will be announced on the service before they take effect.
